BL Running traces its origins back to 1867, making us one of the oldest medical school athletics clubs in the world. With teaching at our university beginning as early as 1123, we’re proud of our rich heritage. The Medical College of St. Bartholomew’s and The London Hospital Medical College merged in 1992 to form Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry, giving rise to the team we know today.
